Introduction

As you might have read in our previous two newsletters or noticed from their titles, we are publishing a series of updates on significant topics we wrote about in 2023.

In the past weeks, we sent you the first two of these: full, long-read articles on Temu and the EV market in China. Some of the other updates we are working on won’t be as long as these. We considered combining multiple topics in each newsletter but eventually decided it would be better to stick to one or two per publication. These will be for paid subscribers only.

This means that we will temporarily shift to a shorter weekly publication over the next few weeks while we finish this series. After their completion, we will return to bi-weekly deep dives in February.

This week, we have an update on the latest developments around Cotti Coffee. We hope you like it.
